Until April 2006, Topdanmark was using three different systems for their handling of IT orders, purchase, service desk and asset management. A decision was made to make an exchange for one system that alone could handle all these processes and functions. The demand for a variety of specific requirements and customizations had to be met, and POB was chosen as the system that best covered the specific requirements.
Furthermore, POB had the best total economy, and at the same time it was the least resource-demanding solution.
Smooth Implementation Process
"Considering the complexity of our needs and requirements for POB, the implementation process went very well, without any major difficulties and almost according to plan," says Jørgen Assens, Group Manager, Topdanmark. "In approx. 2-3 months we were up and running with the whole system.
